Junior Leadership Team

These children will be working closely alongside Mrs Steele and Miss Holford to help to organise events for the school and to show visitors around our school.

My name is Jennifer, but people call me Jenny. I am 10 years old and I have been chosen for the JLT. I am a dancer and do many types of dances. My favourite dances are tap and street dance. I’ve performed in many shows. I am also in the choir. As part of the JLT we help around the school. So far we have raised money for the Poppy Appeal, collected toiletries for the Christmas Fayre and helped in assemblies. I like being in the JLT because I like helping around the school and seeing how amazing the school is.

My name is Frankie. I am 10 years old and I am in the Junior Leadership Team. I help around the school and it’s very fun. I am really good at Maths and I am a footballer. I am very helpful to other people and I will do anything for this school.

My name is Freddie. I’ve been at the school since Nursery and I am 11 years old. I like playing football and cricket outside of school but in school I like helping people of any age.

Hi, my name is Nicole and I am 11 years old. As part of the JLT I am always helping our around the school, showing visitors around and much more. I love being part of the JLT because I love helping out and I am glad I can do that.

House Captains

These children are the captains of our school house teams. They will lead meetings with the houses, help to organise inter-house competitions and encourage their teams to earn as many house points as they can.

Kilimanjaro

Hi, my name is Daisy. I am 11 years old and I am a house captain for Kilimanjaro. I got this job because I am a responsible pupil at Smallthorne. Being house captain means having to help at sport events, count house points and more. In downtime I like to play cricket, football and read.

Hi, I’m Scarlett and I’m a house captain for Kilimanjaro. I am 10 years old and I was chosen for this role because of the amazing people who chose me. I like reading and having things to do around the school. I also like playing games and football. Being a house captain is super fun because you can do many things. You get to count all of the house points, which is sometimes hard, but apart from that is very fun. I wish to have this job until the end of Year 6.

Everest

Hi, my name is Evie-Rose. I am 10 years old. I got the role of House Captain because I am responsible and I would be a good role model for the Everest team. I like to dance and play football in my free time.

Hi, my name is Hari and I am a House Captain for Everest. I wanted to be a house captain to impress Miss Holford and Mrs Steele and to help my team win rewards by getting the most house points. In my free time I play football and play with my baby sister.

Ben Nevis

Hi, my name is Taylor and I am 11 years old. I am a house captain for Ben Nevis. I enjoy this job because I can help my team in events, I am good at Maths, I am trustworthy, confident and caring. I also like this job because I can Mrs Steele and Miss Holford with different things. I like helping anyone if they are struggling with anything. I am a responsible pupil at Smallthorne. In my downtime I like to play games with my friends.

Hi, my name is Roseann and I am 10 years old. I am a house captain for Ben Nevis. I help them to earn as many house points as possible so that we can win treats. I like playing with my friends, reading and playing football in my spare time at home. Sometimes I play board games with my siblings when I am bored and when I’ve done all of my chores.

School Council Leaders

In every class there will be a designated school council member. The children chosen to be the School Council Leaders will arrange and lead meetings (supported by Mrs Owen) and will organise events and make decisions alongside Mrs Steele and Miss Holford to ensure the school is the best place it can be for our children.

Hi, my name is Kajetan and I am the school councillor for Year 1. I like to keep people safe when they are hurt and to keep people calm. I like to play football outside of school with my friends.

Hi, my name is Primrose and I am the school councillor for Year 2. I like to play with the obstacles on the playground with my friends. I wanted to be a school councillor to help people and to make our school even better!

Hi, I’m Roksana and I’m the school councillor for Year 3. I was chosen because I did a great speech. I can teach you all my first language (Polish) and make you smile. I like to be friends with everyone.

I’m Caiden and I’m 9 years old. I’m very good at English and I’m in the art club. I’m very thankful to be a school councillor for Year 4. I will really try to make everything better and to make the children happy. I will take part in everything. I am very grateful that the children chose me. Thank you.

Hi, my name is Ella. I am 9 years old, soon to be 10 and I am in Year 5. My key qualities are: I’m smart, I’m helpful, I listen, I’m supportive and I always do the right thing. I wanted to be the school councillor in Year 5 because I want to make the school the best it can be and give everyone the best education that they can get.

Hi, I’m Lily and I am the school councillor for Year 6. I got the role because I work hard, I am always confident and I help people out when they need it. In my free time I like to write stories or track down stuff.
